What is the difference between Burrata and Mozzarella?
In a nutshell: Burrata is actually a type of mozzarella filled with cream. Burrata therefore has a creamier texture than mozzarella. You could almost eat it with a spoon! Personally, I like to eat the Burrata cold with just a drizzle of olive oil or as in this recipe slightly warmed so that it is even more runny but not too grilled to keep its freshness. Sometimes the simplest things are the best: a good slice of bread and a little oil, some burrata, a minute in the pan and that’s it! Here is my super quick and delicious recipe for a Grilled Sandwich with Burrata. How does it sound?
Ingredients
For a nice sandwich
2 slices of bread
1 tablespoon of Burrata (about ¼ of a ball of Burrata)
1 handful of fresh spinach
1 tomato
Herbes de Provence
Salt
Pepper
Olive oil
Preparations
It's just one step, really
Pour a drizzle of olive oil on the slices of bread. Salt and pepper and add some herbes de Provence. Place on one of the slices of bread: the burrata, then the fresh spinach, washed beforehand. Cut the tomato into slices and place 2 to 3 slices depending on the size of your bread slices. Close the sandwich with the second slice of bread. In a frying pan, pour a little olive oil. Place the sandwich and grill it for 1 minute on each side. Then eat while it is still hot!
